In June, millions of us took to the streets and proved something powerful: When we stand together, we can drown out authoritarianism with the voices of everyday people demanding freedom.
Now we're about to do it again—and make it even bigger.
On October 18, we're organizing what could be the largest nonviolent day of protest in modern U.S. history. Already, 2,352 protests are planned in every single state and even internationally. That's more events than the first No Kings protests in June—and we still have two weeks to plan additional protests and fill our streets with people.
Because Trump is escalating by the day. He's shut down the federal government over his refusal to fund health care for millions of Americans. He's directing the military to occupy Democratic cities. He’s sending masked agents to terrorize immigrant families in our communities—profiling, arresting, detaining, and disappearing people without warrants. He's using the full force of the federal government to try to silence and punish people and institutions that are not subservient to him. He’s scapegoating trans people and denying them their humanity. Gutting action on climate change. Rigging electoral maps. Handing massive giveaways to billionaire allies while costs skyrocket for working families. Threatening to take over elections themselves.
He governs like his rule is absolute. But America has No Kings.
MoveOn is helping make October 18 massive—and we need your support to finish strong.
We're working with a broad coalition of progressive organizations, and our specific role is critical: preparing thousands of volunteers who are hosting protests in their communities. We're organizing training calls, providing materials and resources, and working one-on-one with hosts, while also playing a leadership role on the overall coordination and planning and providing significant financial support to the coalition.
