Here's why: With the polls currently showing Mitch McConnell LOSING to Amy McGrath by one point, Mitch is pulling out all the stops to defeat us - and so far, it's working.

Mitch McConnell has spent the last few weeks raising (and spending!) record-breaking amounts of money, and he's calling on his friends in Big Oil, Wall Street, and the NRA to raise even more. He's even enlisted a new super PAC to spend more on TV ads in Kentucky than nearly anywhere else in the country.

Unless we get our own ads on the air immediately, Mitch could retake the lead in this race. That's why I made the decision to buy the additional airtime we need to go up against him, even though we don't yet technically have all the money we need in our budget to do so.

We're doing everything we can to get this ad on the air starting tomorrow and keep Amy McGrath's lead, but we're still falling short of the $150,000 we need to guarantee our spot on statewide TV. That's why I'm personally coming to you today to ask:

Support from donors like you has made a tremendous difference for this grassroots movement and our chances to Ditch Mitch. But we're facing a major shortfall, and we won't be able to get this critical ad against McConnell live without you. Please, will you give $5 or more right now so we can reach our goal, help Amy McGrath defeat Mitch McConnell, and take back the Senate for Democrats?
