On October 7, the Supreme Court will hear arguments in Chiles v. Salazar ([link removed]) — a case that challenges a Colorado state law protecting young people from conversion therapy, that could have ripple effects nationwide.
Regardless of claims made by the anti-LGBTQ+ groups who brought this challenge all the way to the Supreme Court, the reality is that this case is about whether or not children ought to be protected from dangerous, junk science practices that have been proven to cause lasting harm, pit kids against their families, and double the risk of suicide among LGBTQ+ youth.
For us, the decision could not be clearer.
Follow us on social media to stay up to date on the case and hear from those directly impacted by this case, including survivors of these practices.
