Please help us put Jeremy Blake in the Newark Mayor’s office – the man who cares about Our Newark and Our Neighborhoods. Here are several ways you can help – please pick one or all of them! Open the office for us! We need people to keep the office open so folks can drop by to pick up window clings, yard signs, fill out post cards, and other campaign necessities. Office hours are short, just any day you can volunteer from now through election day, Mondays through Fridays, 1 to 5 p.m.

   SHERROD BROWN EVENT
Join us! Senator Sherrod Brown and Future Mayor Jeremy Blake will host a roundtable discussion on poverty on Monday August 26 at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 592 W Main Street, Newark, OH 43055.
This 1-hour long event will host local grassroots organizations including Newark Homeless Outreach, Crossroads Crusaders, Newark Firefighters IAFF Local 109, Newark Think Tank on Poverty, and John's Helping Hands 1973. Text JEREMY to 740224864.

  LABOR DAY PARADE
Walk with us! Meet at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 2 in the parking lot next to the gym at Newark High School. Please wear Blake blue, or blue and white. The parade kicks off at 11:30 and marches from the high school to Courthouse Square. We need as many people as possible to show up in force for Jeremy! Text JEREMY to 7402248641 to volunteer.

  HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME HANDOUTS/VOLUNTEERS
Hand things out for us! We need volunteers to join Jeremy and stand just outside the entrances to the first home games for Newark High School and Newark Catholic and hand out Blake campaign magnets before the games start. This is a short job because you’ll be finished at kickoff. The Newark High game is September 6, and the Newark Catholic game is September 7. Text JEREMY to 7402248641 to volunteer.

  POST CARDS
Write with us! We need volunteers to stop by the office to sit down and fill out post cards for Jeremy, or take a batch home to fill out. We will have the postcards available at the office. Please note that the campaign is not supplying stamps for the cards; please purchase and donate the stamps for the postcards as part of your volunteer effort for the campaign. Postcards stamps are less expensive than first-class postage; one postcard stamp is 35 cents; a sheet of 100 postcard stamps is $35, and a sheet of 20 is $7.
