Dear John,

Tomorrow is a bitter day. We grieve for all those we lost on October 7, 2023 when we witnessed the worst attack against the Jewish community since the Holocaust. That morning, Hamas terrorists murdered over 1,200 people in Israel and took 251 hostages, 48 of whom remain in cruel captivity today.

new ADL milestone report highlights what has changed since that harrowing day and how our community is taking action to combat this unprecedented surge of hate and antisemitism.

THE CHALLENGES

- Jewish Americans are experiencing a relentless barrage of antisemitic incidents
- Digital hate is spiking on social platforms and across the web

- BDS has made gains in the corporate arena, the entertainment world and more
MAKING A DIFFERENCE AGAINST HATE

Here are just a few of the ways that ADL is leading the fight against spiking antisemitism.

- In the states, ADL launched the Jewish Policy Index to evaluate all 50 states’ responses to antisemitism through legislation, education and public policy.
- In Washington, ADL is making headway in expanding the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.
- On campus and in K-12 schools, ADL is holding institutions accountable, while providing resources and incident response support to students, parents, caregivers, faculty and other educators.
- In the business arena, ADL-affiliate JLens launched a Jewish advocacy ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) intended to serve the interests of Jewish shareholders at major US public companies.
