I love this piece by Jen McGuire. In it, she details how she grew up surrounded by family. While it was mostly great, there were times, of course, where family members overstepped her parents or she just generally felt overwhelmed. So she decided not to raise her kids the same way. The piece reflects on that decision, for better or worse.

I love this year-old piece by Katy Elliott. She lovingly writes about how her son simply loves his Halloween costume, so much so that she feels badly letting him wear it only one day. So she let him wear it all month long. It’s sweet, you’ll like it.
