Rather than working with Democrats to responsibly fund the government, Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress have forced a reckless shutdown and health care crisis.

Republicans are slashing Medicare and Medicaid, destroying our rural hospitals, and threatening to raise premiums for millions of Americans. Meanwhile, our military personnel and federal workers are being forced to work without pay, and critical federal programs are on hold.
