Friend, one of the Supreme Court's recent decisions has opened the door for ICE agents to stop, question, and detain people simply because of how they look, the language they speak, or where they live or work.
This decision adds even more danger to the mass raids by masked, unidentified ICE agents taking place – tearing families apart, threatening public safety, and turning once-lively neighborhoods into ghost towns.
I want to be clear: This is discrimination, plain and simple.

As your attorney general, I'm doing everything I can to ensure our immigrant communities are protected and people are safe in the state of New York. But I need to know that you're standing with me on this, friend.
I'm collecting 5,000 responses from this team before midnight:

Do you believe ICE should stop racially profiling immigrants and wear proper ID?
In recent months, I've fought against unlawful detention and immigration policies that endanger families, erode due process, and waste taxpayer dollars.
Our nation was founded on liberty and justice for all – and that includes immigrants who make our communities stronger every day.
No one should fear being questioned, detained, or deported by unidentified masked agents while taking their child to school, going to work, or attending church. That's why I vow to never stop protecting the rights of every New Yorker and to stop this federal overreach.
But I need you with me. If you agree that these targeted attacks have no place in America, I'm asking you to let me know you're standing with me: Do you believe ICE should stop racially profiling immigrants and wear proper ID?

Together, let's send a powerful message: Discrimination is unacceptable, and justice must be for all.
