Thank you for all you do for our communities, our children, and their futures.
Yesterday was World Teachers’ Day, Friend!
I feel incredibly grateful for the hardworking educators we have working in San Diego who, day in and day out, help bring up the children of our community.
It goes without saying that teaching is a demanding job – and it’s way harder in today’s world than when I attended San Diego’s public schools. That’s why I wanted to take a moment to thank our teachers for their tireless work and dedication to our kids. CLICK HERE to join me →
I know many of us have a teacher or two in our lives who made a real impact on our lives and the people we grew up to be – myself included.
My fourth-grade teacher – the incredible Mrs. Sheila Barron – taught me to set my standards high, especially for myself, and the value of putting in the hard work. She believed in me and taught me from a young age that I could accomplish anything I set my mind to.
And I know our schools are full of Mrs. Barrons, encouraging our youth to become the best versions of themselves.
So join me in saying a well-deserved and heartfelt “thank you” to our hardworking teachers by forwarding this email to a teacher who truly impacted your life.
