On November 4th, the fate of our Democracy will be decided in an obscure State Supreme Court election in Pennsylvania. If Trump topples the court’s three vote liberal majority next month, he takes control of the body overseeing elections in the most important swing state for the upcoming ‘26 and ‘28 elections. He will outlaw mail-in ballots, prevent Democratic ballots from being counted, and may even ban Democrats from appearing on ballots altogether. Trump has MAGA billionaires in his corner for this fight. Only days ago, MAGA dark money PAC’s appeared seemingly out of nowhere in PA, suddenly flooding the airwaves and mailboxes with tens of millions of dollars in advertisements. And these billionaires aren’t fighting fair either. They are sending PA Democrats intentionally deceptive mailers to try and trick them into voting to oust the Democratic justices by saying that voting no (the MAGA position) will “protect women’s rights” and that the Justices “protect pedophiles.” Trump and MAGA billionaires are throwing their haymaker, fully expecting it to land and Democracy to fall. But they didn’t see this coming. Defend Our Courts has rallied democrats from across the nation to come to PA’s aid.
