I just got off back-to-back phone calls with our Legal Strategy and Grassroots Fundraising teams, and I have news to share.

First, as of 4 PM PST today, CGF is tracking 39 percent short of our monthly fundraising goal.

Second, unless we can close this fundraising gap by August 31, we're going to have to make some hard choices.

I want to assure you that despite this setback, CGF will remain heavily invested in overturning the Roster.

Unfortunately, if revenue continues to lag behind target, we may have to fund our Roster case at the expense of other initiatives.

That could mean fewer legal actions overall. And it could mean being unable to challenge new gun control laws as they pass the California Legislature.
