Google Civics Happy Hour & Learning Session

Embassy of Australia Fall Pride Festival
Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in attending the Embassy of Australia’s Fall Pride Festival, hosted by Ambassador Kevin Rudd on Saturday, October 18 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Residence of the Australian Ambassador.
The RSVP form is now closed. A first round of invitations have been sent out to those who have expressed interest.

LGBTQ+ History Month Celebration
Join GLASS, the LGBT Congressional Staff Association, Library of Congress GLOBE, and the Raben Group for a celebration of LGBTQ+ Congressional Staff in honor of LGBTQ+ History Month!
Enjoy drinks, light snacks, remarks from LGBTQ+ leaders, and a drag performance. This event qualifies as “widely attended” under House and Senate ethics rules.

Q Street’s Professional Development Series
In response to the unprecedented workforce changes in the federal government this year, Q Street is proud to partner with The Method Coach to launch the Professional Development Series: Career Navigation. Tailored specifically for LGBTQ+ policy professionals, lobbyists, and public sector advocates, this four-part, in-person workshop series is designed for anyone looking to make a strategic career transition, whether within the government ecosystem or into the private, nonprofit, or consulting sectors.
All sessions will be from 6:30-8:00 PM and located at 101 Constitution Ave NW, Suite 400 West, Washington, DC 20001. You are encouraged to RSVP for all sessions or whichever best fit your professional needs.
