Labour have doubled business rates on many struggling small businesses. We've just announced a plan to scrap them for small businesses on high streets....
Dear John, Labour have doubled business rates on many struggling small businesses. That's on top of the huge costs of their Jobs Tax and the crippling employment regulations on the way. We've seen the result John. Pubs closing. Shops sitting empty. High streets hollowed out.The Conservatives will always champion business and those who take risks to create jobs and grow our economy. So to support small businesses and bring pride back to our high streets we've announced the next Conservative government will completely abolish business rates for thousands of shops and pubs on our high streets.

We can only make this commitment because of our plan to get Britain living within its means.Implementing our Borders Plan, which will save the taxpayer £3.5 billion.

Cutting overseas aid by £7 billion to put the British economy first. And reforming welfare to get people back into work. We've also announced a targeted £5,000 tax break for young people entering employment for the first time, helping them get the best possible start in life.Where Labour choose debt, the Conservatives will champion discipline.

Where Labour choose welfare, we champion work.Where the other parties accept stagnation and decay, we'll champion aspiration, and a brighter future for businesses and our communities.
Let us know what you think of our economic plan, and please share the survey with your friends and family.
