Join Us for Period Action Day 2025
Hi everyone,
Period poverty means not having enough access to menstrual products or education because of cost or stigma. Menstrual health is reproductive health, and all young people deserve access to the products and care they need.
In the United States, 1 in 4 young people can’t afford period products, according to the State of the Period Study by PERIOD and Thinx. We need action to change that.
Every second Saturday of October is Period Action Day (PAD) a global day to take action to end period poverty and stigma. It’s a time to recognize the youth leaders driving change and to stand with them in the fight for menstrual equity.
Started by PERIOD., a nonprofit focused on ending period poverty and stigma, this year’s event marks the 7th annual Period Action Day on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Join us to take action, host an event, share resources, or start a conversation about menstrual equity in your community. Together, we can make sure no one has to miss school, work, or daily life because of their period.
Take Action for Period Action Day
