That’s why John launched his statewide “Neglected Neighborhoods and Forgotten
Farms” tour. 


It’s unacceptable that there are areas in Michigan — and all over the country
— that are missing out on the American Dream, and John is determined to put
them all back on a path to prosperity.

profited for themselves. It’s time we had battle-tested leaders who truly look

Career politicians like our opponent have failed to deliver for left-behind
rural and urban communities across the country. 


They’ve ignored these communities and put their own careers ahead of the
people who sent them to Washington to serve. Enough is enough — we need leaders
who are willing to take a stand and go back to work for our neglected
communities. 


That’s why John has laid out a prosperity agenda based on his own personal
experience, designed to be a living framework to begin to address generational
financial anxiety and socio-economic immobility. 


 John’s plan to lead our communities back to prosperity includes: 

* Improving skilled workforce training and college education
* Investing in education opportunities
* Expanding opportunity zones and entrepreneurial opportunities for farms and
small businesses
* Protecting our seniors' health care and those with pre-existing conditions
* Delivering quality, affordable health care and investing in mental health,
trauma, and overall wellness
* Safeguarding seniors by protecting pensions and Social Security and Medicare
* Overhauling infrastructure including broadband access and public transit
John’s agenda isn’t a silver bullet, and it’s neither perfect nor complete. 


But it’s a promise. A promise to start rebuilding our prosperity — not only in
Michigan but in every state in our great country. A promise to never forget the
communities that career politicians have let crumble.
