Friend, Greg Abbott has bent the knee.

Over the weekend Trump ordered members of the Texas National Guard to be deployed to Chicago, and potentially other cities – and he was given Greg Abbott’s blessing.

We need to be 100% clear about what this is: a Trump invasion.

The Texas National Guard should be used to help Texans. But instead, Greg Abbott has once again bent the knee to Trump– allowing Trump to use Texas Guardsmen as pawns in his game.

This is another MASSIVE escalation in Trump’s authoritarian takeover. And Texans need to stand up right now to reject this weaponization of our National Guard.
