Don’t forget: Michigan House Republicans’ version of this budget gutted $1.4 billion from our schools, endangered rural hospitals, slashed mental health services, and attacked the very programs working families rely on. If Republicans controlled the Michigan Senate and the Governor’s office, that’s the budget Michiganders would be living under right now.
Instead, Democrats stood strong and delivered a budget that puts people over politics.
2026 is right around the corner. We must elect a Democratic Governor to continue Whitmer’s legacy, expand our majority in the state Senate, and flip the state House back to Democratic control, or else Republicans will drag Michigan backward.
