John,
“Every day shootings are every day problems” — Trevor Bosley
Terrell Bosley, Tim Schmidt Jr., Tyrek Hill, Akilah Dasilva, and Maura
Binkley’s lives were cut short by mass shootings. Their stories matter.
Their lives matter. [ [link removed] ]You can learn more about who they were and the
legacies they leave behind by clicking here and reading the 30 under 30
magazine.
Mass shootings have been increasing through the years since 1966, with
most happening in places where we build community.
Terrel, Tim, Tyrek, Akilah and Maura were young people who dedicated their
lives to making others feel better. They were a brother, a friend, a
teammate, an activist, and a sister. Music, traveling, helping others and
sports fueled their lives. Lives that should have been long and
successful, instead gun violence stole their futures far too early.
Despite everything, they left a mark in the heart of their communities
even though their lives were cut short.

They went out seeking community and simple joy, but a person with a
firearm took everything from them. An estimated 393 million firearms are
owned by American Civilians.
Leaving your home and getting out into the community should be safe and
fun. Young people deserve to go to their churches, yoga studios, Halloween
celebrations or just a Waffle House and come back home safely.

and come back home safely. Help us by donating $20.25 or more
