I’m not going to allow the conversation around gun violence go away. Minnesotans have expectations of their leaders that they will fight for common-sense gun legislation that will save lives, and I’m committed to doing just that.

Meanwhile, the GOP is making it clear that they’re going to do everything in their power to block common-sense legislation like an assault weapons ban. 

But I’m not backing down.

Minnesotans deserve to see where their legislators stand on an issue as simple as saving lives. Minnesotans are watching us, and they will not accept more thoughts and prayers without action.

This isn’t going to be an easy fight, but I know together we can make a difference and save lives in Minnesota.
