Patriot, Today, my team and I are making headlines as we jump feet first into what could be one of the hardest things I've done in my entire life. After considerable consideration and soul-searching, I have decided to do what I know is the right thing to do: formally announce my campaign for U.S. Senate in Texas. Politics should be about one thing - YOU! Doing what's best for Texas. Doing what's best for America. That's why I'm jumping into this race. When I was in Iraq, I was never in the air alone. I never could have completed a combat mission by myself; I worked as a team with my gunner. The best way to win is to work in a team, and that's why I'm emailing you today. Without someone like you on my team, Patriot, I don't know if we can do this. There are only six months until the Texas primary, and that means we have to start this campaign sprinting if we want to get ahead of the pack.
