John:
Yet again, the Supreme Court is poised to change the lives of trans people in this country for the worse. Today, the Court begins a new term — and three major cases related to trans rights are on the docket. SCOTUS is set to issue rulings on two cases about trans participation in sports, and one case about conversion therapy.
Earlier this year, in their Skrmetti decision, the Court dealt a harmful blow to our community by allowing Tennessee to ban gender-affirming care for minors. Now, unless the Court is convinced otherwise, states may be allowed to legalize life-threatening conversion practices, and ban trans girls and women from the simple joy of playing on a sports team with their peers.

To advocate against these harmful and dangerous laws and policies, A4TE needs your support! Our legal team files influential amicus briefs that carry our community’s voice directly into the Supreme Court. We are no stranger to hostile courts, intimidating opponents, and offensive rhetoric. But we continue to show up — in every space where our rights are challenged — to give trans people a voice that is grounded in data, rooted in history, and powered by love. That is what we will—and must—do at this moment.
I urge you to make a gift of any amount to support our work today. This hostile government and its enablers wield enormous power and have deep pockets. If our team is going to match them at every step, we need you. Help give us a fighting chance. Show the Supreme Court that we’re not going away by making a gift to A4TE today.
