Yes, Dems Shut Down Gov’t to Give Health Care to Illegals

Busted: Despite their best efforts to convince you otherwise, Democrats in Congress brought about the government shutdown in large part to return funds for illegal aliens that the One Big Beautiful Bill Act removed.

  • “Such welfare and other benefits given to illegal aliens facilitate and prolong illegal immigration in the U.S. at great cost to the American taxpayer,” a Heritage Foundation report noted.
  • “The OBBBA properly limited the health benefit eligibility to those who are here lawfully and more permanently.”
  • The White House shared a post on X about the report.

Rob Greenway Goes Toe-to-Toe with European Scholars on Israel-Hamas War

The Daily Signal

Warsaw: During the Warsaw Security Forum, Rob Greenway, director of the Allison Center, brought common sense to a panel on the Israel-Hamas war.

  • “If October 6 was an untenable position, the solution was not October 7,” stated Greenway, following other panelists’ (incorrect) claims of an Israeli occupation in Gaza prior to the attack.
  • The panel featured scholars on both sides of the issue, even including a representative of Qatar.

Insurgence: The recent spree of political violence is not coincidental. Law enforcement and Congress are investigating the problem of left-wing violence and how domestic and foreign communists are offering training to leftist radicals.

  • “What they will find is that much of this support....comes from overseas, from countries that loathe the American way,” writes Mike Gonzalez, senior fellow at Heritage.

Why Your Electric Bill Keeps Rising

Calling for backup: The federal government has been throwing subsidies at renewable energy sources, allowing them to undercut competition.

  • But “the vast deployment of subsidized solar and wind in America’s power sector today imposes hidden costs and undermines investment in reliable power sources,” writes Heritage Senior Fellow Mario Loyola.
