Patriot,

You and I have a few things in common. We work hard for everything that we’ve
earned.

I completed two tours in Afghanistan. I felt a call to service because I love
my country and wanted to do anything to repay it for the tremendous
opportunities it has given me throughout my life.

After all, Freedom isn’t free.

It was the honor of a lifetime to serve alongside my brothers in Afghanistan,
and I would do it all again in a heartbeat.

When I left the service, I thought my duty was over. I did my tours, and I
suffered every hardship and trial that came along with it.

Then, I watched helplessly as 13 Americans lost their lives in a botched
withdrawal.

I felt like I needed to do something to prevent this from happening again. I
know firsthand that bad leadership gets soldiers killed. The Biden
administration wrote off these living, breathing men and women to statistics on
a spreadsheet.

These patriots who volunteered to serve their country deserved better, and
that’s why I decided to run for Congress.

Sometimes I feel like being a politician is almost as hard as being a Green
Beret, especially when these fundraising deadlines peek their heads around the
corner.

I hate asking for money, and my team knows I tend to put off fundraising. I
put off these messages until the last possible moment.

I’ll come out and say it.

I need your help - I have an upcoming fundraising deadline and we’re far
behind our goal.
