As Governor, Roy vetoed an extreme Republican bill banning nearly all abortion care after 12 weeks of pregnancy. Rolled out during the night, Republicans pushed it through despite knowing that this ban was NOT what North Carolinians wanted.

A clear majority in North Carolina support access to abortion. But our opponent doesn’t care.

The extreme GOP wants to get between North Carolinians and their doctors. They don’t care that folks in states with bans are nearly twice as likely to die during pregnancy or soon after giving birth.
