From Fort Wayne to Lafayette to Indianapolis, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the Indiana State Police, thanking them for their tireless work to protect Hoosier families. Together, they are cracking down on drugs, protecting our children from predators, and making sure criminals who threaten our communities are behind bars. But while Indiana is focused on protecting families, Washington Democrats are once again playing political games at the expense of hardworking Americans. Senator Schumer and his caucus shut down the federal government—not to protect our troops, veterans, or first responders—but to push free healthcare for illegal immigrants. That’s wrong. Republicans are standing strong with President Trump and Governor Braun to keep America safe, lower healthcare costs, and put Hoosiers first. As always, thank you for being a part of our team, and please feel free to reach out if there's anything I can assist with.
