Greetings from Rome! As the Season of Creation comes to a close and we celebrate the 111th World Day of Immigrants and Refugees on October 4-5, I've had the pleasure of encountering and praying with pilgrims and fellow participants of an international conference mobilizing academic communities to support immigrants and refugees ([link removed]) . This overlap of ecology and migration speaks deeply to our work at ISN. These issues
are inseparable, and so too must be our faithful response.

An intersectional approach to justice is infused with a sense of hope. That was certainly on display during the Pilgrimages of Hope for Creation in Omaha ([link removed]) and Cincinnati ([link removed]) , two of hundreds that took place around the country. It can clearly be heard in the witness of our young leaders throughout the first season of the Ignatian Voices for Justice Podcast ([link removed]) . It echoes through my colleague Brenna's reflection series ([link removed]) on the Season of Creation.

Hope is the thread that binds our struggles, our prayers, and our action for justice. In that vein, join our One Church One Family ([link removed]) campaign of public witnesses for immigrants in the U.S. Through this campaign, we are witnessing a Spirit-led movement that refuses despair and chooses faith in action. Let us keep carrying this hope forward together, as one Church and one family.
