Anti-LBGTQ+ laws are on the docket. Will you stand with us before the Court convenes?
[[PREHEADER_TEXT]]
Hello!
The Supreme Court returns tomorrow, and already, some of the first cases on the docket target LGBTQ+ rights and equality.
In Little v. Hecox and West Virginia v. B.P.J., the Court will decide whether states can ban transgender girls and women from participating in sports with their peers. These cruel laws aren’t about fairness; they’re about exclusion and discrimination.
And in Chiles v. Salazar, the Court will consider Colorado’s ban on conversion therapy for minors, which is being challenged based on “free speech” grounds. The Court will ultimately decide if the ban is constitutional or not, which has significant implications for LGBTQ+ youth.
These cases are not just legal battles. They are about whether every person in this country can live authentically, safely, and equally.
We know what’s coming: the far right will use the Court to try to roll back decades of progress. That’s why your support is critical right now.
