This summer, a new chapter of Liberal Democrat history will begin. We’re electing a new leader, and we’re inviting you to have your say.



We’ve always fought for what’s right. We led the fight against the Iraq war, we secured same-sex marriage and we oversaw the country’s biggest increase in renewable energy production.



In recent years, we’ve been fighting Brexit. We’re an internationalist, pro-European party, but for us Brexit is so much more than that.



Brexit has led to the stripping of EU citizen’s rights, a rise in hate crime, strain on already struggling businesses, and a lack of much needed cooperation with our closest neighbours.



John, that’s why I’m proud we fought Brexit every step of the way. I’m confident that looking back, it’ll be clear that we were on the right side of history.
