<[link removed]> Final day to sign Save Downtown Menlo petition! Peter Ohtaki — October 5, 2025 Menlo Park’s City Council is pushing affordable housing developers to build 6+ story high-density apartments on three heavily-used, downtown parking lots despite widespread opposition from residents and businesses. Save Downtown Menlo <[link removed]> , a grassroots coalition of residents and business owners, is fighting back with a ballot measure that would require voter approval before any downtown parking lots can be repurposed. If you’re a Menlo Park voter and haven’t signed the petition already, please sign today at these locations: Sunday, Oct. 5, 11am-1pm - Cafe Zoe Sunday, Oct 5, 3pm-5pm - Sharon Heights Safeway Several large Alternative Sites <[link removed]> for housing don’t sacrifice our downtown. Let’s build on the Alternate Sites <[link removed]> BEFORE irrevocably changing our charming Menlo Park downtown. <[link removed]> Once the parking lots are gone, our welcoming downtown character will be GONE. Stand up for local control and common sense If we lose Downtown Menlo Park, what comes next? Your Peninsula city may be next for your downtown parking lots! ✅ Donate here <[link removed]> to support the campaign ✅ Volunteer to help spread the word by emailing [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> View original post <[link removed]> <[link removed]> 8 Politzer Drive, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA Powered by Squarespace <[link removed]> Unsubscribe <[link removed]>
