Last night, Marcy Kaptur took to Twitter to lie to you about why the government is shutting down.

Here’s the truth:

• The House already passed a bill to keep the government open.

• The government is shutting down because Marcy Kaptur and her DC liberal bosses are holding the process hostage.

• Why? Because they’re demanding FREE healthcare for illegal aliens and billions more in waste, fraud, and abuse.

It’s the same tactic the Democrats used to stall President Trump’s appointments. These petty antics serve only to delay crucial proceedings, deprive Americans of benefits, and keep the government paralyzed.

Marcy Kaptur doesn’t represent Ohio anymore. She represents the far-left billionaires in California and New York who bankroll her campaigns.

I’ve had enough. And I know you have, too.

That’s why I’m stepping up – because Northwest Ohio deserves a representative who will fight for YOU, not sell out to the socialist Left.

But to flip this seat and hold Kaptur accountable, I need every patriot on board.

This is our chance to end Kaptur’s 43-year grip on power, flip the Dems’ most vulnerable seat, and finally put Ohio families first again. But I can’t do it without your immediate support.

A NOTE FROM ALEA NADEEM

I love America — not just because I was born here, but because I know what it’s like to live without freedom.

When I was only 8 years old, I was taken from my home in Ohio and left behind in Iraq to live under Saddam Hussein’s brutal regime.

Overnight, I lost the freedoms so many of us take for granted and was forced to live in a country where women had no rights, speaking out could cost you your life, and your future was not your own.

When I finally made it back to America at 12 years old, I promised myself I would give back to the country that never stopped fighting for me. That’s why, after 9/11, I joined the Air Force. 

For over 20 years, I have served this country in the Air Force and rose to become a lieutenant colonel. I protected America’s interests abroad, advised senior military leaders, and defended the freedoms too many take for granted.

Now, I’m taking that fight to Washington, and your donation of any amount would make a meaningful difference to power me in this mission.

Our enemies are growing bolder.

Our freedoms are being eroded.
