Oregon is our home, not a military target. We do not need nor want federal military intervention in Portland or anywhere else in Oregon. 

To everyone who may be feeling scared or nervous about what President Trump’s actions mean for our country and our democracy, know that I’m standing with you today, always ready to fight back. 

Portland is not the violent war zone President Trump has made it out to be. That is absolutely ludicrous – and chilling. I’ll continue speaking out for the Oregon I call home, and remain steadfast in my efforts to solve the real problems we’re facing — not ones made up by a misinformed, authoritarian politician looking to create chaos.
