The Supreme Court's June Medical decision last week was a pro-choice victory.

But anti-choice lawmakers are still working around the clock to limit reproductive freedom, and the fight is far from over.

In 2019, we saw an unprecedented wave of anti-choice legislation introduced in state legislatures, leading to a horrifying 25 new anti-choice laws enacted by the end of the year. And as we've seen in 2020, even a global pandemic hasn't slowed Republicans down.

Most recently, the Tennessee General Assembly passed a law in the middle of the night that bans abortions as early as six weeks into a pregnancy — before many women even know they are pregnant.

With anti-choice Republicans working overtime, we need more pro-choice Democratic women in state legislatures to fight back. This election cycle, we've endorsed nearly 400 women for state and local office who will help change the tide.
