Hi there -- it's Kirsten Gillibrand, DSCC Chair.
When Donald Trump shut down our government to prevent millions of Americans from having access to affordable health care, he made it pretty clear whose side he's on -- and it's not working families.
He also made it clear that he deeply underestimates Democrats' commitment to fighting for lower costs and the ability to go to a doctor when you're sick -- and that's by far the biggest mistake Trump's made yet. Instead of backing down, Democrats are standing up to deliver a win for the American people.
But as long as Republicans hold the Senate majority, the simple fact is that they'll never lift a finger to stop Trump or the billionaires who run his administration. We must unseat Trump's allies and elect a Senate that will fight to lower costs for all Americans.
So if you're ready to join your fellow Americans who have had it with Trump and Republicans' chaos, I'm personally asking you to rush $5 right now to flip the Senate blue so we can put the people -- not Trump's billionaires -- first again >>
Let ME be clear: Republicans in Washington caused this shutdown because they WANT millions of Americans to lose their health care -- it's what they voted for in Trump's Big Ugly Bill -- and hardworking American families are the ones feeling the pain.
We simply cannot trust Trump and his MAGA allies to govern responsibly or look out for our interests, and their shutdown is just the latest example. It's why we must take Senate control OUT of Republican hands as soon as possible.
Helping the DSCC crush our $50,000 midnight fundraising goal is the most important action you can take today. I'm proud to be leading the charge to flip the Senate blue, but I need Democrats like you in it with me. Please:
Rush $5 to help elect a strong Democratic Senate majority that will put a stop to Trump and Republicans' chaos >>
We need your help to fight for the Senate. If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will be processed immediately.
Thank you.
