In case you missed it, our founder Cori Bush has officially launched her return campaign for Missouri’s First Congressional District!
This is more than a campaign. It’s a movement reborn.
Last year, AIPAC megadonors and right-wing extremists spent millions to buy an opponent and unseat Cori. They saw an unbought, unbossed, democratically elected Black woman who stood for freedom and peace for everyone and thought they could silence her. Silence us.
They were wrong. While they may have gotten one round, she will not go quietly into the night.
Cori vowed that her fight wouldn’t end there, and it hasn’t. Since then, she’s founded Politivist Action PAC and launched Movement for Freedom under the committee with us, to uplift and empower grassroots leaders who will never bow to corporate power or extremist agendas. And now she’s back, running for Congress again, fueled by the same movement that shook St. Louis and inspired the nation.
Together, we’ll show the world that no amount of big money can extinguish the power of the people.
