Folks,

I know a lot of folks are struggling.

The Trump administration has ripped away health care from millions of Americans to give more tax cuts to billionaires, fired thousands of our federal workers, shot up unemployment, and driven up costs – and Virginia’s families are feeling the pressure.

That’s exactly why our elections in one month are so important.

Over the next month, Virginians will head to the polls to elect our next Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General – and to decide if Democrats maintain control of the General Assembly.

And everyone is watching us. Americans are looking to Virginia’s election results as a referendum on the Trump administration because our elections are one of the first major tests of Democratic strength in the Trump era.

We’ve got to turn out in record numbers to elect Democrats at the ballot box and send a message loud and clear:

Voters are fed up with this Republican Party that has sold its heart and soul to whatever Donald Trump wants.

And we can’t stop there. Our Commonwealth is at the center of Democrats' path to retaking control of Congress next year – because there’s simply no Senate majority for Democrats if we lose Virginia.

Here’s my point: the work to keep Virginia blue has already begun – and I need you to join me in this effort.
