This is an outrageous escalation. It’s not some anonymous threat, but an
elected official using violent rhetoric to target Pramila. And let’s be
clear about why they are threatening violence against Pramila.
Pramila is leading an unprecedented grassroots organizing effort to grow
our nonviolence resistance movement. Her Resistance Labs have brought
together thousands and thousands of volunteers from every single state in
the country.
The extreme right wing is terrified of the power of our nonviolent
progressive movement and they want to silence us. That’s why they
threatened Pramila.
But we aren’t scared. We can’t afford to be — not when so much is on the
line.
So when disgusting threats like this are made against leaders like
Pramila, our movement has to show strength. We will stand together and
keep fighting for justice.
