Trump’s border czar was caught red-handed taking a bribe from undercover
FBI agents—and the administration is trying to cover it up.

Tom Homan took a bag full of $50,000 in cash in exchange for promising
favorable government contracts. It sounds like something straight out of a
movie, but in reality it’s just how far Trump’s people are willing to take
their corruption.

But instead of holding Homan accountable, Trump’s Department of Justice is
sweeping this under the rug.

We need to call out this corruption—and that’s exactly what Katie Porter
is doing:

Homan didn't take the $50,000 in cash. That was not part of their
statement when we first went to them on Saturday. Multiple people familiar
with the case say he did accept the money, as does an internal government
document reviewed by MSNBC.'

Government is supposed to work for the people, not line the pockets of the
well connected. We need leaders at every level who will demand
transparency and accountability.

Katie Porter is running for governor of California to do just that. As the
leader of the biggest state, she would have a huge platform to call Trump
out and pressure the government into working for us.
