This report, the tenth in a series that began in 2011, describes the Bureau of Justice Statistics data-collection and developmental activities during 2019 and 2020 to measure the incidence and prevalence of rape and sexual assault in correctional facilities. It discusses the following data collections:
* National Survey of Youth in Custody
* National Inmate Survey
* Survey of Sexual Victimization.
Each of these collections is an independent effort, and they are not directly comparable. This report meets the Prison Rape Elimination Act of 2003 (PREA; P.L. 108-79) requirement to report on BJSs activities for the preceding calendar year by June 30 of each year.

These statistical tables, based on data from the Federal Bureau of Investigations "Law Enforcement Officers Killed and Assaulted, 2019", present information concerning line-of-duty deaths or assaults of law enforcement officers in the United States, including
* law enforcement officers feloniously killed, by race, ethnicity, and sex of victim officer
* circumstances encountered by victim officer upon arrival at scene of incident
* status of known offender at time of incident.
