I wanted to make sure you know about the upcoming judicial elections on Nov. 4 – because the deadline to register to vote is less than 3 weeks away.
State Supreme Court races like these matter. Big time. The PA Supreme Court rules on things like redistricting, reproductive rights, election laws, trans rights, COVID rules, and environmental protections.
Flip one seat and the outcomes flip too.
⚠️ Here’s the thing: Judicial elections draw lousy turnout, but they have a huge impact. Fair maps or gerrymandered maps. Reproductive freedom or archaic abortion bans. You get the point.
It's why Elon Musk tried to buy Wisconsin's state Supreme Court race this past spring (the man dumped millions), and why we need to make sure folks in PA are registered and ready to vote on or before Election Day.
🗳️ We've got THREE seats up for election this year, with the potential to swing the current majority. Stakes don’t get bigger than that.
So here’s what you do. Make a plan. Bring a buddy. Remind your neighbor. Cast your ballot like democracy depends on it – because it does. And don’t sleep on the down-ballot races – those make a difference too. Make sure you're all set by using the buttons below:
