Friend,
Gov. JB Pritzker rushed to the microphone recently—not to address the violent crime in our streets, not to speak out for struggling families, not to defend Illinois parents and taxpayers…
…but to defend Jimmy Kimmel.
Jimmy Kimmel got fired (and then quickly rehired) after making comments that outraged millions of Americans, and JB Pritzker rushed to defend him because it fit his political narrative. It shouldn’t be all that surprising because Pritzker has spent years alienating thousands of Illinoisans who don’t agree with how he runs our state.
Where was that urgency when families were forced to flee Illinois over taxes, crime, and chaos?
Where was Pritzker’s “moral outrage” when he posed, smiling, for cameras with a criminal recently?
He'll stand tall for a coastal celebrity with a PR problem, but when you need help? Silence.
This is what leadership looks like under Democrat rule: performative politics, photo ops, and total betrayal of the people who he is supposed to represent.
Illinois deserves a leader who stands up for you.
