Tell them to reject the Pot Lobby! Dear friend, As you know, the marijuana industry has been desperately fighting to use the COVID-19 pandemic to its advantage. While Big Pot's army of lobbyists failed to get a taxpayer bailout, its supporters in the House of Representatives snuck a provision into the last round of COVID-19 aid that would allow pot businesses access to the banking system. While that bill has been declared dead on arrival, and the inclusion of pot language was roundly mocked, the Senate is now beginning to draft their own bill. We must take action to encourage senators to reject any attempt by the pot lobby to include any giveaways to Big Pot in this bil. Click here to send your senators a clear message: NO GIVEAWAYS FOR BIG POT. Once you've sent your message, take it one step further and call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. An operator there can connect you with your senators' offices. Tell them we must focus our aid efforts on industries that are on the brink of collapse, not addiction-for-profit businesses bragging about being labeled “essential” and raking in record profits. Finally, please consider chipping in to help us continue going in this fight by clicking here. As you know, Big Marijuana has practically unlimited resources as it is dead set to become the next Big Tobacco. It is up to supporters such as yourself to help prevent this.
