news:

Planned Parenthood Votes New Mexico has endorsed our campaign for
governor! This endorsement truly means the world to me.

During college and through my pregnancy, I relied on both Medicaid and
Planned Parenthood.

[ [link removed] ]UNM Graduation DayUNM Graduation Day, 1994. My child, Somáh, was born
just four days after I graduated.

The providers at Planned Parenthood were with me every step of the way
during some of the hardest moments of my life. Without them, I don't know
how I would have gotten the healthcare I needed. I’ve never forgotten
that. And I’ve spent my career fighting to make sure New Mexicans have
access to that same care, no matter their income, zipcode, or background.

In Congress, I championed reproductive health and freedom, and I’m ready
to do the same as our next governor. I won’t stand by and let Donald Trump
and New Mexico Republicans strip away care from New Mexicans.

But, we still have a long way to go to win this race.
