In an overnight raid on a South Side apartment building, armed ICE agents in military gear and assault rifles rappelled from a helicopter onto the roof of the complex. They then proceeded to bust down residents' doors, detaining people regardless of legal status, some of them children, zip-tied their hands and dragged them into U-Haul vans while they determined their legal status.
