President Trump’s ‘Domestic Terrorist’ Memo Targets Critics of Christian nationalism
The memo lays the groundwork for state-sanctioned attacks on secular and atheist voices, ([link removed]) as well as anyone who challenges Christian nationalism, criticizes the government, or defends the rights of marginalized communities.
The Religious Liberty Commission’s Third Meeting was held in Washington, DC on September 29th
The meeting focused on the death of conservative, Christian nationalist activist Charlie Kirk ([link removed]) , along with a coach who claimed he was “prosecuted and persecuted” after being fired for praying at a public school game, and topics like school choice and perceived discrimination against religious families.
Oklahoma’s Superintendent Ryan Walters has Resigned!
Ryan Walters was notorious for pushing religion into Oklahoma’s public schools. ([link removed]) As superintendent, he mandated Trump-endorsed Bibles in classrooms, required education on 2020 election conspiracy theories, and forced new teachers from “blue states” to take PragerU designed exams aimed at weeding out so-called “woke” educators.
Reps. Yassamin Ansari, Jared Huffman, and Jamie Raskin of the Congressional Freethought Caucus Work to Protect Church-State Separation
They've introduced a new resolution that honors the fundamental American principle of the separation of church and state. ([link removed]) The resolution rejects Christian nationalist attempts to undermine our history and protects the Constitution’s promise of religious freedom for all.
