* Political postcard season is here so it's a great time to buy a lot of stamps and help out the Post Office while you're flexing your activism muscles! If you're still sheltering at home and don't want to go to your local Post Office, you can order from their online store here. ([link removed])
You can also help by signing this petition by Change.org ([link removed]) , and this one by ActionNetwork.org ([link removed]) , asking Congress to help fund the Post Office.
Finally, take 2 minutes and text "USPS" to 50409 and Resistbot will walk you through contacting your legislators to ask them to fund the Post Office. Read more about it here. ([link removed])
* Need some direction on sending postcards? Postcards to Swing States ([link removed]) does what it says. Reclaim our Vote ([link removed]) can get you signed up for postcards, texting or phone banking. SwingLeft ([link removed]) does letter writing campaigns, but also has a lot of other options that can be done from home.
* There's a bill being considered right now in NJ that will help slow the spread of Covid among incarcerated people by working to release prisoners who have less than a year to go to finish their sentences. * The National Democratic Training Committee is still offering free training for all Democrats and Progressives ([link removed]) . They have options for candidates, campaign staff and "local leaders", which includes volunteers.
