About the job

This position delivers innovative solutions that contribute to the DES mission by acting as one of the Capitol Security Locksmiths. The position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of building door hardware and locksets as well as supporting campus physical security systems (access control, video management, duress, etc.).

Results matter here. We are looking for a doer; someone who has a strong work ethic and has the ability to hit the ground running. You must have extensive locksmith experience and aptitude for installation and operation of physical security systems. Technology is also a focus, as you'll be working with it on a daily basis and will regularly be introduced to new technology systems. You hold confidentiality in the highest of regard, as it is necessary in this field and is required by our customers and law enforcement partners. You're someone who enjoys collaborating with others to get things done. You achieve satisfaction in a job-well-done and achieving customer satisfaction.
