I am livid. And I am sure it makes you mad, too, John. The Democrats Shutdown the Government! Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats voted for illegal immigrants over our veterans. Our active duty military must go without pay. Our veterans won't have the benefits they deserve because of Schumer's shutdown. All because they want free healthcare for illegal immigrants. Are you mad yet? What's worse is that one of my Democrat opponents, Angie Craig, also voted against this same CR to fund the government in the House, even after she called previous government shutdowns "putting politics above people." What is she doing now?! John, we cannot allow another Schumer lackey to vote against President Trump's America First Agenda – AND YOU. That's why I need you on my team to help take on Angie Craig, Chuck Schumer, and these shutdown Democrats. I'm not a career politician. I'm a regular guy from a working-class family who grew up playing hockey and answered our nation's call on my 18th birthday in October 2001, just weeks after the 9/11 attacks. I joined the Marine Corps to defend our country, and as a Navy SEAL, I deployed nine times to over 70 countries, to protect our freedoms and way of life - and it's unthinkable that the men and women who put their lives on the line will go without pay and the benefits they risked their lives to earn. I don't have the funding that my Democrat opponents do – they have the backing of Tim Walz, National Democrats, and the liberal donor base. That's why I am counting on you.
