Fireworks Permit Issued
The City has issued a fireworks permit to St. Thomas Academy for Friday, Oct. 3, for the school's homecoming festivities. Residents may hear the sound of fireworks on Friday evening; please share this information with anyone who may become unnecessarily alarmed.

Oak Awards
The Mendota Heights Oak Awards honor those who protect our natural resources. Awards include youth leadership, strong environmental effort, and lifetime achievement. Nominations are due Jan. 31. Winners are chosen for their impact, and announced in the spring.

Items Left at Parks
To keep our parks safe, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone, residents are reminded that leaving chairs, umbrellas, toys, or other personal belongings in the park for ongoing use is not permitted. Items left unattended can block access, create safety hazards, and interfere with park maintenance. Please refrain from placing or leaving personal property in the park. Any unattended items may be removed without prior notice. Thank you for helping us keep our community spaces clean, safe, and welcoming for all!

Fall and Winter Decor Swap

Donations before the event will be accepted at West St. Paul City Hall (1616 Humboldt Ave.) October 2 and 3 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Everything is free, no donations are required to shop. Leftovers will be given to a reuse charity. All donations must be clean and fully functional. Staff reserve the right to turn away items.

ADA Transition Plan Open House
