Send a letter to Director Turnage: This week,  Deputy Mayor of Health and Human Services and Director of the Department of Health Care Finance Wayne Turnage said: “the city has been very noble in their efforts to see that persons who are not citizens have coverage.”  Instead of finding real ways to protect a 25-year-old program, he is prepared to oversee the dismantling of this “noble” effort.

Join our Rally and Lobby Day: DC JWJ and our allies have been fighting back to save the Alliance. We're fighting for a full restoration of benefits and coverage! Plus, over the past month, volunteers and service providers held clinics at Sacred Heart church and registered over 230 individuals who will no longer be eligible to apply.
