This weekend is a critical moment, John

This weekend is a critical moment, John.

This is our final weekend of canvassing before ballots drop for the Proposition 50 ballot measure that’ll pass the Election Rigging Response Act.

That’s why Gov. Newsom and his team have declared this weekend a “Weekend of Action.” We’ll be launching more canvasses, rallies, and other organizing efforts up and down the state.

With ballots arriving in the mail next week, we HAVE to make this weekend count. But a massive mobilization like this is another expense we didn’t plan for. Will you consider pitching in a donation to help fund this Weekend of Action?

Our opponents have spent millions upon millions of dollars carpeting the airwaves with negative ads and launching multiple salvos of direct mailers to undecided voters’ mailboxes.

They are hoping these slick ad campaigns will trick voters into defeating Prop 50 and giving Donald Trump a clear path to rigging next year’s midterms.

But we believe in the power of old-fashioned grassroots organizing. If we can get our volunteers and our literature in front of voters, we know that face-to-face conversations can set the record straight.

But time isn’t on our side. Ballots are arriving to voters next week, which means that undecided voters need to be reached NOW, before they mail in their ballots. This is a critical make-or-break weekend, and we want to leave it all on the field. Will you make a donation of $35 or more to fund literature, canvasses, phonebanks, and other organizing events this weekend?
